Radiology Consultants of Iowa

Radiology Consultants of Iowa (RCI) is a self-governed, independent private group of over 30 radiologists with no affiliation (nor planned affiliation) with private equity. We have a nearly 100-year history of serving communities in Cedar Rapids and Eastern Iowa. Most of our radiologists live in the Cedar Rapids or Iowa City metro areas; both have excellent public schools and are great places to raise a family.

One of our greatest strengths is our scheduling flexibility, which includes payment to partners using a point system. This allows partners to change how much or little they want to work based on their desire for more income or preferred work life balance. Evening and weekend shifts are paid at a higher rate, which allows partners to further increase their income if desired. No overnight shifts, and some partners elect to only work 1 or 2 weekends a year. An average partner can typically expect to work 2 shifts per week from home.

We are focused on efficiency utilizing tools such as RadAI and Clario to improve workflow.

Partnership Track:

• 2 years to partner
• Looking for all subspecialities though our greatest areas of need are Mammography and Body.
• Salary for the two-year workup is $500,000 each year with a $50,000 signing bonus. All standard benefits
• 10 weeks of vacation each year. An advance on the first-year salary is available for those in training.

Employee track:

• General radiology, Mammography, Body, and other options available
• Fully remote, hybrid, or on-site options available.
