University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 190 board-certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages, and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers, and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.

Our academic department runs a 32-member radiology residency. We are a radiologist-run practice that is equitable, progressive, and places the greatest emphasis on the highest quality clinical care.

Overnight Radiology
  • Overnight shift hours are approximately 11PM to 8AM ET.
  • In-house and remote radiologists will be considered.
  • Must be comfortable with general radiology, body/neuro CT imaging, and basic pediatrics. There is backup in all subspecialties.
  • Full partnership position available for appropriate candidates.
  • Candidate will join a dedicated clinical Teleradiology section of 20 experienced Emergency Radiologists. A recent fellowship in ED radiology, Body Imaging, or Neuroradiology is most desirable but other fellowship training will be considered.
Cardio/Chest
  • Seeking a full-time physician with dedicated subspecialty fellowship experience in Cardiovascular imaging, which may be a part of a Chest or Body Imaging fellowship.
  • Candidate will join a dedicated chest and body section of more than 20 experienced imagers whose work includes:
    • Cardiac CTA and Cardiac MR Programs
    • Lung Cancer Screening Program
    • Multi-disciplinary Lung Cancer Conference
    • Reading for dedicated scleroderma and adult cystic fibrosis clinics
Nuclear Radiologist
  • Position requires Board Eligibility/Certification in both Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic Radiology, which may include the ABR’s 16-month combined NM pathway.
  • Candidate will join a clinical section of 12 experienced Nuclear Radiologists. The position is flexible and the amount of nuclear medicine can be tailored to a candidate’s skill set and additional non-nuclear fellowship training.
Body Imaging Radiologist
  • Seeking a full-time physician with a subspecialty fellowship in Body Imaging.
  • The candidate will join a dedicated clinical Body Imaging section of more than 32 experienced imagers.
Mammographer/Diagnostic Radiologist
  • Seeking a full-time or part-time physician for a daytime office radiologist position in the Philadelphia metro area.
  • The practice is expanding in the Philadelphia metro area and seeks a motivated individual to help grow our outpatient practice in this region.
Neuroradiologist/Diagnostic Radiologist
  • Seeking a full-time or part-time physician for a daytime office and/or hospital Neuroradiology/Diagnostic radiology position.
Breast Imager/Mammographer
  • Breast imaging facilities are state of the art, with ACR Breast Center of Excellence certification and affiliations with NAPBC Breast Centers.
  • Candidates must be proficient in all breast imaging modalities and breast-related procedures.
  • A variety of positions tailored for a primary focus on breast imaging with opportunities to also provide coverage in other areas of general radiology, body imaging, etc.
  • Full-time candidates and part-time candidates (minimum of 80% time) will be considered.
Pediatric Radiologist
  • Recent/Current fellowship-trained Pediatric Radiologist
  • Candidate will join a state-of-the-art pediatric imaging section that covers three children’s hospitals in addition outpatient practice.
  • The section consists of 7 fellowship-trained CAQ pediatric radiologists.
  • The primary focus is pediatric imaging, but if the candidate desires, the position may include other areas such as body imaging.
  • Candidates must be comfortable with the full scope of pediatric imaging.
  • Full-time and part-time (minimum 80% time) will be considered.
Evening Radiologists
  • Shift hours are approximately 2 PM to 11 PM.
  • In-house and remote radiologists will be considered.
  • Must be comfortable with general radiology, body/neuro CT imaging, and basic pediatrics. There is backup in all subspecialties.
  • Full partnership position available for appropriate candidates.
  • Candidate will join a dedicated clinical Teleradiology section of 20 experienced Emergency Radiologists. A recent fellowship in ED radiology, Body Imaging, or Neuroradiology is most desirable but other fellowship training will be considered.
Interventional Radiologist
  • Very recent/current fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist sought to join an interventional radiology section that covers both hospital and outpatient centers.
  • Candidates need to be familiar with the full scope of interventional practice.
  • The position will include varying degrees of other areas of diagnostic radiology such as noninvasive imaging and body imaging.
