Medical Center Radiologists (MCR) is the largest radiology practice in Southeastern Virginia, providing radiology services to the Hampton Roads region for over 65 years. MCR has 75+ board-certified radiologists and is Virginia’s only hybrid academic-private practice: a physician-owned private practice that also manages the radiology residency program and imaging fellowships for Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS).

Remote openings:

• Swing shift (12pm-8pm EST)
• Night shift (11pm-7am EST).

• MCR provides service for six hospitals and eight outpatient centers

Compensation and Benefits

• First-year compensation is 90% of shareholder compensation for experienced radiologists and 85% for fellows

Community Info

Hampton Roads, known as “America’s First Region,” includes the independent cities of Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Portsmouth, and Suffolk, as well as other smaller cities, counties, and towns of Hampton Roads. MCR primarily services the cities of Virginia Beach and Norfolk and is now expanding onto the Virginia Peninsula, adding Sentara hospitals in Williamsburg and Hampton. Virginia Beach is mostly suburban in character, with Norfolk being more urban and Williamsburg being a smaller historic community. Norfolk and Virginia Beach are located on the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay, with Williamsburg farther north up the James River.
